Lightweight David Bielkheden, welterweight Ryo Chonan, and middleweight David Loiseau are off the UFC roster after their losses at UFC 97 in Montreal.
The cuts come on the heels of the dropping of veteran middleweight Jason “The Athlete” MacDonald over the weekend. MacDonald was notified of his ouster via email from the UFC legal department.

Jason “The Athlete” MacDonald was dropped from the UFC roster this week – via an email.
Not the best of circumstances for a fighter, MacDonald received his notice from the UFC legal department which included mention that his “services were no longer needed” and that his “contract has been terminated.”

ESPN’s E:60, a truly nice piece of investigative work in the middle of some really uninspiring stuff, is taking on the UFC, and more to the point, Dana White. The show, scheduled for May 12, was filmed live at UFC 94.
The plan changed and the production crew went back for more material at UFC 97.
