Aragon Crowd Sees Excellent Contests

Lyman Good and Omar De La Cruz advanced to the finals of the Bellator Fighting Championships last night at Chicago’s Aragon Entertainment Center – and pocketed $50,000 apiece.

Good pummeled Jorge “The Naked Man” Ortiz to the canvas, opening up a huge gash above Ortiz’ eye in the process, which led to the stoppage in their 170 lb. tournament contest. Good dominated the action in the fight before ending it at 1:30 of the second round via a technical knockout.

The Manhattan, NY, fighter moved to 9-0 for his mma career with the convincing victory.

De La Cruz won his bout over Dave Menne is surprisingly easy fashion after stunning Menne with a lighting series of blows. Menne was unable to recover and the contest was stopped at 3:19 of the first round and the TKO awarded to De La Cruz who now moves to 5-1 for this career.
