UFC on VERSUS Card Complete
Brandon Vera looks to recover from his loss to Randy Couture
The Ultimate Fighting Championship finalized the full fight card for its first appearance on the Versus network at 11PM EST on March 21 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. The promotion added a bout between Duane “Bang” Ludwig and Darren Elkins to the preliminary portion of the fight card.
Ludwig is fighting in front of his hometown crowd.
Ludwig was set to take on Spencer Fisher, but an injury forced Fisher off the card.
With his last appearance a win over UFC veteran Gideon Ray, Elkins immediately stepped up to face Ludwig.
UFC on Versus 1 features a headline bout between light heavyweights Brandon Vera and Jon “Bones” Jones, as well as a heavyweight feature bout which pits Brazilians Junior Dos Santos and Gabriel Gonzaga against one another.
