Takanori Gomi takes on Kenny Florian at UFC Fight Night 21
Kenny Florian will take on former Pride lightweight champion Takanori Gomi at UFC Fight Night 21 on March 31st , and here he talks to MMAGirls.net about the card and a list of other fighters.
That fight is set as the leadin to the premier of The Ultimate Fighter season 11, which features Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell as coaches.
The Florian vs Gomi card takes place just ten days after the UFC debuts on the Versus Network from Colorado featuring a Jon “Bones” Jones vs Brandon Vera matchup. Also on the Colorado card, Junior Dos Santos looks to keep his streak in the UFC heavyweight division going as he faces fellow Brazilian Gabriel Gonzaga.
Nate Quarry vs. Jorge Rivera, Lucio Linhares vs. Yushin Okami, Cole Miller vs. Andre Miller and Ross Pearson vs. Dennis Siver are also included on the Florian vs. Gomi free show.
The Florian fight marks only the second time fans will be get to see Gomi fight in the United States in his storied career.
