Bonnar Takes Over for Mir As WEC Color Analyst at WEC 47
Stephan Bonnar will is set to take over Frank Mir’s seat ringside at WEC 47 doing color commentary.
Mir is training for his matchup with Shane Carwin at UFC 111 and so opted out of his usual spot on the crew.
A permanent spot as a full time commentator could well be in the near future for “The American Psycho” if he can’t get a much-needed win against Sosynski at their rematch. which is currently set for the TUF 11 Finale.
Bonnar previously worked as a commentator at UFC 59.
Brian Bowles makes his first title defense at WEC 47 against Dominick Cruz at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio Saturday evening, March 6.
