Mike Brown vs. Jose Aldo

Mike Brown gets no respect.

Both he and Aldo come off big time wins in June to set up this showdown.

Brown may be stronger than Aldo, but Aldo is so quick and fight-saavy, Brown will have a hard time exercising that advantage in power.

If you’ve been watching Aldo, you know what kind of sudden, vicious attacks he can launch. I picked Brown over Faber – both times – but this time I have to go the other way in a close call…

Our Pick: Aldo

Manvel Gamburyan vs. Leonard Garcia

Gamburyan and Garcia have competed in the UFC, and in the big leagues, size matters. Both men are too short to compete at 155 pounds. In the WEC at 145, both men are the right size and they certainly have the skills.

Garcia has been in some wars, but Gamburyan is just too talented. The winner of this one gets a title shot at the victor from Brown-Aldo.

Our Pick: Gamburyan

Rob McCullough vs. Karen Darabedyan

Darabedyan is a former boxer with serious judo credentials, and McCullough’s been out of action for quite some time.

Though McCullough has ten fights in the WEC alone and this will be Darabedyan’s ninth MMA fight – total – we’re taking the rookie to complete the Armenian Sweep.

Our Pick: Darabedyan

Danny Castillo vs. Shane Roller

Castillo trains with Urijah Faber and he’s on his way to being very, very good.

But it just ain’t his night.

Our Pick:  Roller
