Our Man On The Scene Reports Back From Fedor vs Rogers

The Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers fights were awesome.

My wife and I sat on the floor where the fighters exited the ring.

We met a whole host of great fighters, including Andrei Arlovski, who I’ve seen at Chicago events numerous times. Andrei kind of seemed to recognize me, so that was a bonus…

I had a short conversation with Pat Militich who thanked me for coming (not sure why), Dan “Hendo” Henderson mumbled hello when he shook my hand, Babalu Sobral winked at me and said something in Brazilian, and Robbie Lawler came over for a picture and an autograph – thanks to my wife’s cleavage.

The Fedor fight was one of the best I’ve seen, and I’ve seen a lot of fights.

The crowd of Russians went nuts and started throwing beer and screaming Vodka-laced slurs when Rogers got clocked. It felt a lot like having a walk-on part in a Russian mob flick.

And to top off an excellent evening, I cleaned out the touts and won some big bucks on Mousasi and Shields.
