According to this magnificent television interview by Katerina Azarova with Fedor Emelianenko, George Barnett, a stringy-looking British drummer and model, came within a hair’s breadth of getting his head caved in by the Last Emperor.
I have a hard time believing the guy pictured on the left was on steroids, but I guess anything is possible. He’s just lucky the fight fell through and he didn’t have to step in the cage like Brett Rogers. A fey little English dude like Barnett would have been so severely damaged by Fedor’s onslaught that… What? You’re saying it was Josh Barnett, not George Barnett, who was scheduled to take on Fedor? Oh. Never mind… Hey, I bet Josh could kick the snot out of George too, but I guess we’ll just never know for sure. |
