Dustin Hazelett Gets An Unexpected Night Off and His Check

When Karo Parisyan backed out of the fight against Dustin Hazelett on the UFC 106 card tomorrow night, UFC president Dana White moved the Paulo Thiago vs. Jacob “Christmas” Volkman up to the main card.

White said Hazelett would receive his fight purse for showing up – and winning by default – since it wasn’t his fault the fight won’t come off.

There’s still no official reason from Parisyan’s camp for the last-second cancellation…
