A Decision Is A Decision – Griffin over Ortiz Was the Right Call
- Posted by Whitey Hudson on November 22nd, 2009
Am I the only one getting sick of hearing how every decision in a big MMA contest is “controversial?”
Watching the Ortiz vs. Griffin fight last night at UFC 106, I never for a moment thought Ortiz was doing enough to win the bout, and when Griffin came on strong at the end, it sealed the deal on my card.
MMA, it seems, is getting worse than Olympic figure skating when it comes to fans whining about “That Damn Russian Judge.”
I know you had your cash on Ortiz. I get that. You have a right to be pissed. But not at the judges.
Raise hell on Tito’s Twitter page and ask him to shoot you some of your money back, but don’t spend too much time beefing about the judging.
It was the correct call, and that’s that…
