Randy Couture In The Expendables And Other MMA Movie Projects

With Rampage Jackson off in Hollywood, Rashad Evans working on his movie career in Canadian productions, Gina Carano set to appear in a Steven Soderbergh movie and Randy Couture starring in The Expendables, you’d think there was a shortage of actors in Hollywood with paid up SAG dues.

With that in mind, we thought we’d take a peek at putting together a list of movie projects – and the MMA fighters looking to make the not-so-smooth transition to the world of acting – which are currently in release or in the works.

Great round-up of MMA-themed movies! At MovieSet, we’ve followed a few of these from the early days of development including Death Warrior, Never Surrender, Unrivaled and more.

With Death Warrior’s imminent release, we’re hosting a video contest. The winner gets a role in the next Lionsgate MMA film including a trip (flight/hotel/per diem) to the film set (location undisclosed but somewhere in North America).

Find all the details at: http://ow.ly/vZTo

Could be a great way to get some exposure for an emerging actor or fighter and/or have some fun meeting some top fighters and seeing how a movie comes together.

Check out the entries already at: http://mma-movie-star.movieset.com/ Enjoy!
