After a tough loss, Miguel Angel Torres has been taking some time off to regroup and reconnect with his life.
The former WEC bantamweight champion was in a movie with the Kimbo Slice and Roger Huerta and spent some time training with boxer Miguel Cotto in Florida. Torres said he was offered a fight on WEC’s upcoming December 19 show but turned it down to give himself more time to prepare. |

 Miguel Torres: My dad has had a mullet his whole life, and he has curly hair, so his mullet is much more awesome than mine. It’s a Mexican thing. A lot of the girls I know said that it was ugly, but that’s how I feel on the inside. I have to be an ugly person when I fight. If I was worried about looks, I would not be a fighter.
