EXTREME CHALLENGE MMA
Also on Saturday night, gofightlive presented Extreme Challenge 134 from Cedar Rapids, Iowa which featured some of the best amateur MMA fighters in the world.
Fans were able to view eight amateur and five big pro bouts. The amateur bouts were highlighted by Roy Jones unique “scorpion crush” submission over Trent Bibbs just fifty-eight seconds into round one.
Pro Chuck Parmelee took out Andre Kase with a triangle choke in round one, and Rod Montoya’s armbar submission finished Torrey Burgess in round one as well.

AUGUST THUNDER
John Lynch’s Pound for Pound Promotions presented an exciting six bout card that featured some rising prospects such as cruiserweight Patrick Farrell and Jason Escalera, but the Chris Murphy and Abraham Torres fight stole the show and may go down as one of the best fights of 2009.
The two fighters engaged in a toe to toe war that had the capacity crowd in attendance at Schuetzen Park on their feet for the whole four round fight.
In the main event, Light Heavyweight Bobby Rooney looked very impressive in winning a unanimous decision over Toris Brewer while remained undefeated with a hard fought decision over equally unblemished Andre Espeut.
Former New York Golden Gloves champion, Steven Martinez made a successful pro debut with a first round stoppage over Keith Collins

BOXING’S FUTURE CHAMPIONS II
On Saturday at Fitzgerald’s Hotel and Casino in Tunica, Mississippi, Prize Fight Promotions staged a six bout that featured a handful of the best prospects in boxing.
Fernando Guerrero (15-0, 13 KO’s) who has been the main event of many premium TV shows headlined this explosive event as he took the next step to becoming a major player in the middleweight division as he took on Chris Archer in a bout scheduled for eight rounds.
Four more contenders and prospects, heavyweight Chazz Witherspoon, Jr. Middleweight Shawn Porter and Middleweight Dominick Wade along with the pro debut of former U.S. national heavyweight champion Mike Wilson were very impressive in disposing their opponents

AUGUSTA FIGHT NIGHT VII
Fight fans were able to witness a great show of MMA. This past Saturday the William B. Bell Auditorium in Augusta, Georgia was the scene some of the best MMA and Kickboxing teams from the south were on hand. Fans can watch thirteen big bouts and see some of the biggest MMA Stars of tomorrow. This was a show with some tremendous knockouts and submissions and the whole show provided some tremendous action.
